Hydrostatic transmission (yr 2003-till date) is somewhat similar to Auto Gearbox transmission in cars, where there are less moving parts & no clutch system. It consist of specially designed load sensing pump, output power is achieved by pressure and hydraulic oil flow. There are less moving parts, linkages & is easy to operate with-out any special training. Speed and power is achieved with the help of lever, which controls the flow and pressure of pump. Brakes are also operated though the same speed control lever. Hydrostatic transmission initial cost is higher than mechanical/hydraulic transmission, but it’s a onetime solution to all your problems.
